Welcome to St.Mary's Parish Athlone

St. Mary's Parish is the parish on the east side of the river Shannon in the town of Athlone, Co. Westmeath. We are in the diocese of Ardagh & Clonmacnois: we have two churches - St. Mary’s in the centre of the town and Our Lady, Queen of Peace on the outskirts in Coosan. Both our churches remain open each day for personal prayer during these difficult times. Please browse our new, updated website and the services available here, which we will be expanding over the coming months. May the prayers of Mary, our Mother and Queen of Peace, help all of you and your loved ones at this time.
